16. Google API Services User Data Policy

Exploro OS complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This section explains how our application accesses, uses, stores, shares, and protects Google user data.

17. Google Data Accessed

When a user chooses to connect Google services, Exploro OS requests the following limited OAuth scopes: (1) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly — to read the user's inbox and display emails inside the CRM; (2) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send — to send emails on the user's behalf from the CRM compose interface; (3) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to read, create, update, and delete calendar events for scheduling and meeting management; (4) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — to access, create, and manage files created or opened by Exploro OS only; (5) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/meetings.space.created — to create Google Meet conference spaces for scheduled meetings; (6) https://www.googleapis.com/auth/meetings.space.readonly — to view Google Meet conference space details. We also request openid and userinfo.email to identify the connected account. Data accessed may include email messages, email headers and metadata, calendar events, Drive files and metadata, Google Meet conference spaces, and basic profile information (email address).

18. How Google Data Is Used

Google user data is used solely to provide the features the user requests within their private Exploro workspace. Specifically: Gmail data is used to display emails, organize conversations, manage contacts, send emails, and generate AI-powered summaries; Calendar data is used to display events, schedule meetings, and create video conferences; Drive data is used to list, upload, and manage files created through Exploro. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or building user models outside the user's workspace. We do not use Google user data to train, improve, or develop generalized AI or machine-learning models. Any AI processing of Google data is limited to the individual user's workspace and is not shared across users.

19. Google Data Sharing

Exploro OS does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with any third parties, except as required to provide the service (e.g., cloud hosting infrastructure), or as required by law. Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never transmitted to third-party AI providers. Access to Google data is limited to the authenticated user and authorized system processes.

20. Google Data Storage & Protection

Google OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and connected account metadata are stored securely in our Supabase database. All database connections use TLS encryption. Row-level security (RLS) policies ensure that a user can only access their own Google data. Tokens are never exposed in client-side code or logs. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

21. Google Data Retention & Deletion

Google user data is retained only as long as the user maintains an active Google connection in Exploro OS. Users can disconnect Google services at any time from the Channels settings page. Upon disconnection, we immediately delete the OAuth tokens and stop synchronizing Google data. Existing synced emails, calendar events, and Drive files are removed according to our standard deletion policy. Upon full account deletion, all associated Google data and tokens are permanently removed within 30 days. Users may request early deletion by contacting privacy@exploro-os.com.

22. Disconnecting Google Services

Users can revoke Exploro OS access to their Google account at any time by (1) disconnecting the service in Exploro OS Channels settings, or (2) revoking access via the user's Google Account security page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).

23. Contact About Google Data

For questions or requests regarding Google user data, users can contact privacy@exploro-os.com.

24. Free Trial

Upon signing up, users are assigned a fifteen (15) day free trial of the Solo plan. During the trial period, users have access to all features included in their assigned plan. No payment information is required to start the trial. Unless the user subscribes to a paid plan before the trial period ends, the account will automatically revert to limited functionality after the fifteen (15) day period.
